Contemporary Bubble Tea Shop Design in Bristol

Bespoke Service Counter with Custom Lighting Solutions

Jo's Tea in Bristol needed a functional yet eye-catching space that would appeal to discerning beverage enthusiasts.

Project Scope

Interior fitout working with pre-installed stainless steel catering equipment and existing retail unit shell.

Elements

Natural acrylic stone countertops, LED-lit product displays, ambient lighting scheme, and custom seating.

Design Concept

Create a welcoming service environment that balances current trends with lasting visual appeal - prioritising cleanliness, brightness and operational efficiency.

The Solution

Our design process began with spatial analysis of the existing catering modules, considering customer flow, queue management and natural light distribution. Through collaborative workshops with the client, we developed a scheme that authentically reflected their brand identity and preferred aesthetic.

The finished space features clean lines and tactile materials selected to resonate with the target demographic - customers seeking quality, efficiency and atmosphere alongside their beverage. The bespoke front counter, display units, seating and lighting were shaped to create visual movement, echoing the playful nature of the product itself.

Material selection focused on durability and maintenance: solid surface counters, powder-coated metalwork and commercial-grade LED systems. This combination ensures the interior maintains its fresh appearance through daily service while creating an environment that encourages dwell time and repeat visits
