What we did..

Although housed in a contemporary space, the coffee shop and tea room warranted a Victorian influenced redesign, sympathetic to the heritage of the original and surrounding buildings.

Reusing and up-cycling existing fixtures and fittings is central to keeping any cosmetic upgrade low in cost. Cladding the service counter and chilled food and drinks displays of this tea room and coffee shop interior in reclaimed wood, affords them a new lease of life. With the addition of Victorian style lighting fixtures and steamer trunk coffee tables, the ambience created is relaxed, warm and inviting. Glass jars displaying loose leaf tea make for a simple feature on the rear wall, and vintage-inspired prints inject an element of nostalgic fun.
