Our future: Our responsibility
Our Eco interior Design & Build service goes beyond creating striking and functional environments on time and on budget. We care deeply about how these goals are achieved, about the effect on people and on the broader environment.
Our aim is simple; as environmentally responsible professionals it is to find ways to reduce design's impact on the world.
So how do we do that?
In the process of resolving our design concepts, their aesthetic appeal and their functionality, we always adopt a holistic approach to achieve an end result that is environmentally, economically and socially sustainable.
Our goal is to create spaces that nurture a happy and productive staff, that inspire and excite your clients, that reduce your energy consumption and that have minimal impact on the broader environment. And we do it by working in close partnership with each client, ensuring that you are included and involved throughout the process.
We know that good, green commercial interior design is not just about keeping abreast of sustainable products and materials. Obviously it’s important to:
- 1. specify durable, sustainable materials from renewable and recyclable resource streams;
- 2. specify energy efficient technologies.
- 3. a design that's inherently simple and streamlined, without unnecessary features, that allows for the use of fewer materials. Less really is more!;
- 4. a design that is timeless and flexible, that's going to stand the test of time and enjoy maximum lifespan;
- 5. a design that makes optimum use of natural daylight;
- 6. a space that makes efficient use of energy;
- 7. a space that has lowered levels of chemicals and pollutants;
- 8. an environment that's healthy for occupants - staff, visitors and customers - because good green interior design nurtures well-being and productivity
- 9. a project that supports local environmentally responsible suppliers and local economies.
But that’s only a part of the design process. On each and every project we also strive to fulfil each of the following:
